Task :

  • Today, you are going to work with a partner.
You will be working in pairs
You will need to use the booklet provided to help you:

Choose a character and then choose their car


Work out the cost of buying the new car.


Over a three year period:
Identify the total cost of road tax for the vehicle


Calculate how much it would cost your character to insure their car over the period


Calculate the total cost of fuel for your character/vehicle combination


Work out how much the car will be worth to sell on after three years.

Work out the total cost to your character over a three year period.

Your teacher will give you a set of envelopes to solve the above questions.
